Increasing your activity level can improve your outlook and increase your energy level.  By doing more, you are likely to become more involved with others and to focus less on yourself.  This may help to distract you, temporarily, from your mood and allow pleasure to enter your life.  Successful experiences are likely to increase one’s motivation for more.

Examine your recent past and compile a list of activities which you have found enjoyable.  Think of the small pleasures as well as those things which were very pleasurable.  Some examples could be listening to music, taking a walk, shopping, playing a sport, going to a movie, or hundreds of other options.  It is up to you to decide what you enjoy.  Include activities which involve interacting with others who can give you positive feedback and activities which provide a sense of accomplishment.
