About Lee Horton, Ph.D.
After receiving my Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, followed by my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology, I combined my training to help clients like you find more happiness within yourselves and create more satisfying relationships.
Over the past twenty-five years, I have seen many changes in our lifestyles, including our relationships. While access to others has become easier through social media, deeper, more meaningful connection may remain unfulfilled. Psychological counseling can provide that deeper exploration that can help you find deeper meaning in your life.
If psychological counseling is what you’re looking for, I serve clients from Memphis, Germantown, Southaven, Lakeland, Olive Branch, and the surrounding areas.
My services include personal, marriage, and relationship counseling. Stress reduction, anxiety management, work-related stress management, and men’s issues are also part of my portfolio.
The Lee Horton, Ph.D. Difference
If you suffer from mood and relationship difficulties and are ready for change, I can help. However, you need to understand that therapy is a change process and not just an exchange of views, feelings, and desires.
If you come to meet with me, you should be prepared to be challenged to change. After all, change requires a willingness to examine yourself and to assume responsibility for your future. To be happy, you must be able to see the future as something you can control.
I can help you control these emotions as I understand how your mood can affect your relationships and how your relationships affect your mood. As the treatment process for mood and relationship difficulties often overlap, to diffuse any anxiety you may feel, I use humor to provide a relaxed and accepting space for your comfort and ease.
